Abstract
La(OH)3 was studied as a chemical heat storage material for storing waste heat at temperatures below 300 °C. The co-addition of LiCl and NaOH improved the dehydration/hydration reactivities of La(OH)3/LaOOH. Moreover, the effects of the addition of alkali metal compounds (LiCl, LiOH, and NaOH) were investigated using X-ray diffractometry (XRD).
